Open Letter to Electoral College

I'll make this brief. I know you are under a lot of pressure, and in a few hours you will be making a choice that could very well make or break the country.

I am in Puerto Rico. We don't get to vote  for President, but we do get to call him President.  If there is a draft, I will have to go to war. If America falls, I fall. It is the same in American Samoa.

There are many reasons for you not to vote for Donald Trump. Though I will admit many of those are the same reasons I shouldn't  have to write this desperate plea, the fact of the matter is he managed to make it past the better judgement of many people. However, I present to you the biggest reason: Donald Trump does not want to be President.

Donald Trump has been President Elect for a month, now. In that time he's done a lot of Twitter fights, he's done rallies, he's met with people, caused a few international incidents  and he's mentioned who his cabinet holders will be.

And hey, that's his right. Here's what he hasn't done: taken  daily intelligence briefings, divest himself from his enormous worldwide businesses, and end the lease a government building has with his own company.

If Donald Trump was serious about being President, there is no reason for him not to be hard at work starting this very serious processes. This is no joke. We've all heard that Mr Trump HAS to do this things in order to be President except, apparently, for Mr Trump himself, and his complete lack of good faith on this matter is highly troubling.

Mr Trump's lack of action in this matter may lead to him breaking the constitution on the every first day.  Mr Trump may be above common decency, logic, facts, respect, and equality, but he should not be above the law, and his lack of movement on this areas I mention lead me to believe he either thinks he is or plans to be, and that's dangerous.

Thank you for your time. Vote your concience.

Yeah, it could look a lot nicer.

Your boy Batzarro, here, the one who usually doesn't usually call himsef your boy, but here we is, has released a new game for the (NSFW LINK) Lewd Game Jam. The jam, sponsored by perennial ruiners of it for everyone 4Chan, , tasked us with creating a lewd product. Now, I planned for my thing to be at least slightly lewder, but I lost a couple of days to a for real Game Jame, and  a country wide 2 day blackout. Plus, my sister never found the thing I needed.

But I made it and here it is. Play it, love it, get stuck on a door. I will be revisiting this one to and those oh, so desirable graphics I failed to get last time. Till then!

Sex: Now that I have your attention: unconsensual

I'll wait until it's 25 dollars...

So...there has been a lot of talk about rape lately, with the New Tomb Raider's already removed sexual molestation scene. It's also appropriate for me to talk about it since the subject of rape is gonna be covered in Fighting Female July. Not the one you'd think, though.

Let's get the basics out of the way:

  • Rape is a real thing that really happens.
  • Rape is, by definition, unjustifiable.
  • Rape is a serious matter.
  • Rape is not something you want happen to anyone, but especially not to the more vulnerable members of our society (women, children, old folk) who tend to be the ones most likely to be raped.

Now, as a blogger, I was surprised at how much rape figures in entertainment once you start writting about it(entertainment, that, is.). But at the same time, are characters like Superman not merely modernized, toned down versions of characters like Heracles, who at one point raped and killed a whole society of warrior women? As time went on, people grew more concious that a guy who had his way with a lady in fiction is not too different from a guy who has his way with one's sister.

So rape became the domain of the bad guys. I mean, sure, that makes sense. But then, it became too ugly to even talk about rape negatively. Today, rape is as all encompassing as to include unrequied kisses and sexual relationships with drunk people.

But as a side current, there was merely escalation on the attempts at titillate. Mainstream entertainment, and especially videogames and animationa nd comics, have been trying more aand more to be more sofisticated, and somehow at the same time, have smalller bikinis and loincloths. Lara Crof, in particular, could not have started as a more obvious attempt at manipulating the male hormones to gain audience.

The costume to the right is described as MASSIVE ARMOR. This is our standard.
It was inevitable that these three conflicting ideologies, that of titillation, the concepts of rape in pop culture, and attempted softening of the more over the top elements of videogame culture would collide. To some people we're becoming more liberal and squemish, and to others we're becoming a stern amish society, when the truth is BOTH ARE SOMEHOW TRUE.

So, really, it was innevitable that someday, someone was going to try and rape Lara Croft. Two off the 3 explained mindsets supported it. I know it's easy to go with the outraged response. "This flesh peddlers are trying to sell rape as a way to tittillate. This is not acceptable." But isn't it?

When scavengers in the respective Resident Evil and Terminator apocalypses tried to rape their lead women, was it acceptable because you knew it wasn't going to happen? Is it acceptable in Boys Don't Cry because it really  happend, and if it really happened it isn't being exploited? When is it acceptable? Is God of War's offscreen sexing of concubines acceptable, because they never point out that concubines don't have much of a choice in anything? Is rape just to be left entirely out of interactive media, or just the adventure type games? If they make a Boys Don't Cry game, or GI Jane or  League of Extraordinary Gentlemen game is it okay if it has rape because the source had it? Does it have to be tastefull, and how do you measure what is or isn't tastefull?  I do not ask this questions because I want an answer: It's because if there is a  personal limit, then it needs to be clear each of us what it its. YOU need to answer to yourself this questions before reacting to things like this.

Look, I'll just make the horrendous, insensible jokes, and you fill in the rest, okay?
I'm telling you, in my country, there is a law against the distribution or having of "obscene  material" . And when you go in on what that actually means, it just goes with a really vague "whatever is too offensive to the mayority of peoples.  Now I've been to Hentai Foundry, so I know we might have differing opinions on what we want "My Small Horsies" characters to see doing to each other. But the point is, this kind of thing was bound to happen sooner or later. 10 years ago it was how much naked our BMX Strippers could be, and today is how much rape can we allow on our adventure games. This things don't just spring overnight, guys.

5 Casting Choices that could piss off the Boycott Thor guys

Never Forget.

It's Black History month in America, and I want to make a feature about it After all, I may, or not be American, or understand the struggles that blacks went though so that The Game could say he screwed Mya, but I do like looking at Brandy.
I really do.
So to celebrate, I want to figure out a casting choice that will make the guys who-don't-think-Thor's-friend Hypergrab-should-be-cast-black furious.  So if I was a casting agent, and also a troll to racists, what would I do? Well...

5)Ryu

Invariably there's gonna be a Street Fighter movie, and invariably it's gonna be lame. But what if instead of  Ryu being Japanese Canadian(you know he's gonna be), he was Black?
What they would say :
"They're stealing away roles from White people . It is Obama's Fault!"

 4)Spider-Man
NOT THIS!

What they would say :
We remember how cool and pointless the internet movement to get Donald Glover to be Spiderman was. But what if it had succeded?
What they would say :"How does it make sense that  a black man from Queens is a Superhero? Are there even Black People in Queens!?"

3) Duke Nukem

A Duke movie was rumored a million years ago(after the announcement of Forever, though, natch!) . But what if they had a twist on the obvious parodies Duke was doing on 80s/90s action tropes?
What they would say :
"Duke Nukem represents everything America is: that is being famous for saying things other people did way before. Have we not suffered enough?"
It's animal cruelty! Let those puppies out now!
2)Black Cat
"Hey, we're Hollywood, and we need to find a way to make you be able to tell which blond girl falls of a bridge and comes back with water powers  and dies which one is a ripoff of Catwoman. Hmm. I know, we'll make one of them black. "
What they would say :
"Didn't they learn their lesson last time? I mean, it was clearly the Blackness that screwed Catwoman up and not the acting, effects, script , or the fact it was a quick cash in using a script from 1995."
1)Joker
One day, I will marry Morphthing. I SWEAR IT!
What they would say :
"Now, come on. It doesn't get any whiter than the Joker!  How is it believable a black Man dresses in all purple, mistreats his women, and is highly casual about violence and exploitation of others in general?"

What a year! A roundup

If it has a link to show it on Imageshack, it's mine!

The New Year is almost upon us! A time to reminisce about what we did right and wrong. I am no exception.

I brought you L.I.E.S, L.I.E.S and L.I.E.S , about Marvel vs Capcom 3.

We discussed, Bestialism and Mechanofilliac Threesomes in Kids cartoons.
Kinky shit.

I found out Harry Potter is all about Lesbian Rape.
Ms Lovitt Meat Pie joke goes here >  <

I discovered Bioware's deep, dark Secret.
Search your feelings, you know this to be true...

And I pwoned some racists.

What did you do? Apparently you wanted to know who I think should star in a Banjo Kazooie movie.

You wanted me to take some generic Viagra and wrote crap in chinese.

You copied my Topless Robot comments.

You ignored my idea for a Wonder Woman Anime.

And you taught me that we're all equally genocidal maniacs.
Ja we can ve serious, Comrade Public Domain!

So what can you expect from his blog in the new year? I will discuss conspiracy theories, Moses, I will return to making fun of people's art and finally decide which is better between Anime and Western Animation. Happy new Year! And remember...
He's filing for divorce, and he's taking the children.

The Thor controversy: How retarded should you get about it.

I regret my involvement in the Million Machine March now...

See, everybody is throwing a fuzz over this group that feels that casting a black guy in the Thor film is an attack on their white Anglo-Saxon heritage. I'ma let you catch up on that.

And now you're thinking to yourself: " How much of my higher thought functions should I lose over this? Do I go into fight or flight mode or just start limply slapping myself? "Don't worry, old Batz is here for you. Full disclosure: look at my profile pic. That's it. Soak in the Rican-ness!

First off, not too much. The group itself, well, it's a recognized hate group, with roots going back to pro segregationists. What was everyone expecting from acknowledged racists? Lemon trees don't grow pears, no matter how many black men you lynch under them.

But what about their argument? Maybe they have a point. Maybe we should listen to them.

Well, I have some points to make as well, so let's take it up.

  • Argument: Marvel is clearly an anti-white, racist group.

Marvel has shown it's particularly interested in bringing in one color to theaters: green.

Marvel's has dabbled on both sides of the issue, and it's always been about money. If you think Marvel  cast  Idris Elba because it was pressured, it was: Pressure to bring in some of that "Urban demographic" alright.
This is Marvel's first African American characters. Apology accepted, jerks.

Apparently African Americans are more likely to see a film if it has black people, or so the logic of the marketing machine goes. And then the same applies to action figures, video-games, cartoons. And action figures like "That one black guy in the background who cheered for Thor"  don't sell too well.

There is no social engineering involved. It's simply one of a multitude of changes made to the source material in order to make as much money as it can from multitudes of products it'll probably have. If you're gonna claim Marvel  has secret society changing plans, at least go full crazy and say Marvel is run  by Jews who are really shapeshifting reptiles from space. That's always fun to hear.

  • But you guys complain when they changed the Avatar, Dragonball, and Chun Li! Hypocrites!
First off: there is no "us guys". I always remained steadfast that aliens, and people of no real earth origin are okay to change. And Chun Li was at least half Asian, and I remained steadfast that half is enough. As long as the movies are good. Which, they, erm...weren't.

But comparisons to this are ridiculous.

See, look at the Thor poster.

See? Mostly black!

You see Hymendall in there? No?

Now try to find Chun Li, and the Last Airbender in these posters.

You may be amazed to find that the Thor Movie is about Thor, and the Avatar movie is about Aang, the last of the Airbenders.

This makes it completely different. Hiddenspell is a Thor SUPPORTING character, which means he'll probably talk to Thor some, help him out, and likely be dead by the end of it. Are there fans of  Takeahyke who wanted to see a Thor movie badly just waiting for this one guy from Thor comics, and is it a dealbreaker for them when the guy is black? I mean, the movie seems to have successfully adapted a lot of the other Supporting cast.

Whereas Airbender cause a huge stink because they where apparently going out of their way to not cast  Asian kids in the lead. And look, as much as I disagree with them, they have a point: It's not like they cast the best and brightest or the most famous. They casted assly after mostly rejecting minorities.

pro-minority groups like the ones involved don't consider "talks to the white guy about life, takes a bullet to the chest' a goal to strive for anymore. Why should pro-white groups do?

And besides, they totally did it. They changed those Asians to Whites, They even took, very real life Asians and made them Kevin Spacey, outrage or no. Can you not get the message? THEY DON'T CARE EITHER WAY! Shit is gonna get changed! Heimlichgal is now black! Prospero becomes Prospera! Jane Austen books now have zombies! Try and keep up!
  • But this is an attack on my heritage and/or belief system!
Then it was before they cast Hydrothunder. See, this movie is based not on the real Norse myths, but on Marvel's loose, loose adaptation of it. By the time got  to the movies it had no chance.

For once, very few actual Norse are in this. I mean, if we're shooting for authentic Norse experience(and remember, we're actually shooting for licensing deals of underwear and toys) white guys from Australia, north America and England just won't do! And they speak in English, too!

I mean, I saw no one offended by this year's Clash of the Titans! And Greeks are, as the birthstones of Western civilization, essentially all our ancestors, if only in culture. But that was a remake of an old movie that itself was inaccurate, and so is this. Not that anyone gives a fuck as long as Russel Crow gets to stab shit with a gladius.

For God's sake, the Norse gods in this movie are multidimensional aliens wearing strange armor and pants! Is there any doubt this isn't a rune brought to life? I hope you guys don't stay awake at night wondering why people say your main gripe is derived from racial prejudice!

Look, do get it. We're nerds. You want it to be exactly like the comic/cartoon/game/book, because you're invested in it. And whether it is faux Shakespearean techno vikings or fratricide, transforming robots, you care about it transitioning intact into the movie fold. And just because I'm open to Rosario Dawson playing Lois Lane doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch it if she's cast white.

But this group behind the site is not run by fans. They  don't care about the integrity of the source material or anything. They are just plain racists masquerading behind the accuracy facade to spit venom. I can tell the difference between real indignation and feigned indignation.

So in essence, get retarded. Because tomorrow this ridiculousness will join  in a long line of stupid controversies we let live for a little bit, then ignored into oblivion once we had our fun.

The Thor controversy: How retarded should you get about it.

I regret my involvement in the Million Machine March now...
